Collection: Mar Loi

Handpan visionary, composer & global traveller

Born in the Canary Islands and now based in Girona, Mar Loi is a self-taught handpan musician whose journey began in 2017 — when she shifted from working with children to following her calling in sound and rhythm.

Her music moves between sensitivity and strength: an expressive dance of handpan, percussion, synths and voice that invites listeners into deep emotional space.

Her discography spans multiple projects — including her debut album “Mercury Found Mars” (2020), collaborative works with the duo JOI, and her 2023 album “Grises”. Her latest release is “Arrels” (2025), a handpan-solo album that marks a new chapter of immersive, heartfelt sound.

At Handpanion we’re proud to feature Mar Loi’s signed CD (and future works) — a celebration of freedom, creativity and authentic expression.

“Her music is a dance between sensitivity, precision and the power of rhythm that touches deeply the heart of the listener.”
