About Us

At Handpanion, we’re more than an accessory shop - we’re fellow handpan lovers. We understand something deeply important: everyone’s connection to the handpan is unique.

Handpanion began as an idea from Phil Begnett, known in the handpan world as @handpanphil.

Phil is a longstanding and active member of the community — he hosts the Handpan Voices podcast, exploring the personal journeys of players around the world, and he helps moderate online spaces such as Master the Handpan and other community forums.

Inspired by his love for the instrument and his deep involvement in the community, Phil envisioned a space where players could find high-quality accessories, thoughtfully curated by someone who plays and listens just like they do.
